On March 31, 2026, I spoke at the joint Grover Beach Planning Commission and City Council meeting about expanding housing opportunities on the Central Coast.
I grew up just a few blocks from this area, so it’s meaningful to see housing finally moving forward here after years of unmet need. I’ve been advocating at Planning Commission, City Council, and Supervisor meetings because housing that actually gets built helps young families, seniors, teachers, and the workforce our communities depend on.
Grover Beach is showing what thoughtful infill housing looks like when communities align growth with infrastructure. We need more of this kind of practical progress across the Central Coast.
